Twenty Days to 2023 National Assembly election, the former PDP Senatorial candidate for Imo West, Hon Jones Onyeriri’ now dwells in state of confusion as Supreme Court which on January 13 declared his candidature illegal is yet to review the said Judgment as appealed by him.
The apex Court of Nigeria had on January 13, declared invalid,the candidature of Onyeriri’on the grounds that the election which brought him as candidate was conducted in Owerri instead of Orlu Senatorial district.
Investigations carried out by Lead revealed that the embattled Onyeriri’ has told his inquisitive Supporters who are gambling between the APC and the Labour parties the one to pick tent with ahed of election to remain a little patient and see if the Supreme Court would review it’s judgement.
However,a source from Onyeriri’s political family hinted Lead that Onyeriri’ would be returning to Owerri next week and upon arrival,he would tell his teeming Supporters what to do or who to support paraventure the Supreme Court does not review the judgement as expected.
