In a bid to prove his Innocence over the allegation that the Labour party Senatorial candidate for Imo West, Chief Charles Ahize has endorsed the candidature of the APC Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Almed Tinubu, the Senatorial hopeful has called on his teeming Supporters to ignore the said publication.
In a press release signed by Ahize’s media team and made available to the Press, Ahize attributed the allegation to those he described as desperate politicians who are worried and afraid of the mass Support he has got from Orlu ahead of the next election.
Few days ago, a publication with a caption,”Tinubu For President, Ahize Directs All Supporters To Vote APC, Says Tinubu is a great Lover of Ndigbo,Insists Igbo Businesses Grew in Lagos because of Tinubu amongst others.
Describing the purported publication as another attempt by his opponents to derail his teeming Supporters, Ahize further hinted that Peter Obi remains the best candidate for the 2023 presidency adding that all Nigerians of good tidings are solidly behind his ambition.
Ahize who appealed with Nigerians and the Igbo people in particular to see Obi’s ambition as a solution to Nigeria problems made it clear that the time has come for Nigerians to be liberated from the shackles of maladministration.
In the said release, Ahize, a business mogul cum Philanthropist however used the medium to appeal with Orlu people to vote massively for Labour Party in the election adding that he came out for the race to reposition Orlu zone particularly in the area of Insecurity which according to him has rendered our people refugees in their homes.
