…Describes Him as Solution to Wobbling Charter of Equity
…Appeals to Uzodinma to Hearken to Voice of Reasoning

Ahead of 2027 Imo Guber, a popular youth mobiliser and political analyst of Orlu senatorial district, Prince Izunna Obiefule has called on Imo People to support Ohakim to complete his truncated second term.
This is even as he described the former Governor as only visible solution to what he described as wobbling Imo Charter Of Equity.
Prince Obiefule who used the forum to appeal to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma to hearken to the voice of the masses however made it clear that all the issues surrounding zoning arrangement in Imo would become things of the past naturally if Ohakim is given the opportunity of completing his truncated tenure.

Prince Izunna Obiefule who made the declaration in an encounter with news men in Owerri, following his demand for apology from Senator Mrs Chris Anyanwu to Imo people over what he (Prince Obiefule) called the Senator’s behaviour that wrecked the ship of democracy in Imo state in 2011, explained that the people of Okigwe zone cannot be said to have taken their fair share of democratic governance in Imo state, unless the injustice metted to His Excellency, Chief Ikedi Ohakim who according to him, clearly won the 2011 Imo state governorship election before it was fraudulently, declared inconclusive by agents of darkness is addressed.

Izunna Obiefule recalled that it was during the re-conduct of the governorship election in some political wards in a few local government areas that those who were bent on pulling Ikedi Ohakim out of office engaged the military to rig the election in favour of Rochas Okorocha, an APGA candidate of Orlu Zone extraction.

Explaining further, the political analyst and avowed crusader for justice and good governance stated, ” if Ohakim was not unjustly toppled by the APGA candidate of Orlu Zone extraction, he, Ikedi Ohakim would have completed his second tenure of office in 2015, thereby making way for people of Owerri Zone to take over in 2015. You can agree with me that the injustice done to Ikedi Ohakim and entire people of Okigwe zone in 2011 affected the people of Owerri Zone adversely. Under a just atmosphere, if Ohakim was allowed to complete 8-year period of two terms in office by the end of 2015, the governorship seat would have rolled over to Owerri zone with the brotherly circle prevailing till date. It is Owerri zone that sowed the seed of discord when in 2011, the zone’s sitting Senator, Chris Anyanwu fouled the atmosphere and messed up the system with unholy political marriage with Rochas Okorocha”.

On the way forward, Prince Izunna Obiefule posited that the Owerri zone people from among whom the spoiler of the system arose in the person of Chris Anyanwu should make atonement by being patient for another four years.

“The best way to heal the wound inflicted on Okigwe zone in 2011 is to give the zone the opportunity to govern Imo state for another four years. And the only man in the zone that is constitutionally restricted to this four-year period is the man who was unjustly treated, Ikedi Ohakim. In the event of Ikedi Ohakim not being willing to render service to the state as governor, another person from Okigwe zone should be considered for the job.
However, I pray that His Excellency, Ikedi Ohakim would display spirit of patriotism by responding to calls from various schools of thought, to once more, seek Imo people’s mandate for another four years in office”, Prince Izunna Obiefule concluded.
