The exquisite main hall of Legend Hotel, Owerri, Imo State will be upbeat on Saturday, March 9, 2024 as renowned friieght forwarder, Eziopara Ben Anyanwu is conferred with the 2023 Man of the Year award of the Imo Newspaper Publishers Association, INPA.
Eziopara Anyanwu, the Chairman, Chris Ben-Bros International Agencies, Lagos was nominated by the association for the award due to his immense contributions to the socio-political engineering of Owerri Federal Constituency of Imo State.
Dignitaries from all walks of life are expected at the occasion.
They include the former Governor of Imo State, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, who will be the Chairman of the occasion; and the Traditional Ruler of Egbelu Obube Autonomous Community, HRH Eze J. C. Nworgu, the Royal Father of Day.
Others are the immediate past Imo State Commissioner for Labour and Productivity, Prince Ford Ozumba and the Traditional Prime Minister of Egbelu Obube Autonomous Community, Okenze George Nkwoji.
The award recipient’s friends and associates are also billed to grace the occasion.
Eziopara Ben Anyanwu hails from Umuchoko, Egbelu Obube Community in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
After his primary and secondary school education in Egbelu Obube Primary School and Obube Secondary School Ulakwo, Anyanwu went into clearing and forwarding business in Lagos.
He later bagged a BSc degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.
Today, he is the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Ben Group of Companies which has interest in freight forwarding, logistics, agriculture and real estate.
