Show promoter, Paul Okoye is of the opinion that 2024 is going to be a tough year for Afrobeat music, this is even as he emphasized that the industry may not thrive this year 2024.
According to a post shared on Okoye’s Instagram page, he stated that apart from Davido and Burna Boy who have done few shows this year, other artists are in serious trouble. According to him, it’s either the other artists have overpriced themselves or their tickets are not selling, putting them in a disadvantaged position.
Ojoye used the opportunity to appeal to the Afrobeat singers to reduce their prices.
