Social democratic party, (SDP) Obedient movement Okigwe south has officially adopted the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Chief Chipeuzo Michael Asawalam for February election.
Following the adoption, the Southeast coordinator Obedient movement, Dr. Fabian Ihekweme , who got arousing ovation after adopting Asawalam as their candidate, said a new Okigwe south that would give its constituency equity, fairness and justice must emerged via the coming poll.
He also opined that ”we have come to a time where we must leave out sentiments and save Okigwe south by looking at individuals who can lead with the fear of God and provide gainful employment for the youths, adding that , 2023 election should not be based on party , stating that all the political parties in the country has failed Nigerians, even NNPP has failed Nigerians but we must therefore look at individuals , people who can deliver .
I am supporting Asawalam, I, will make sure Okigwe south receives what belongs to them, he enthused.
The Chairman Obedient movement SDP Okigwe south, Hon. Frank Aneke was to make their stand know that , Asawalam, who is their son and is their sole candidate for the federal house of representatives and that they will do whatever it takes to galvanized and mobilized every single vote in ihitte -uboma for Asawalam and support him till he is declared winner after the election of February 25, 2023.
Mr Aneke also made it clear that ihitte -uboma has no other candidate for the position of Federal House of Representatives except Asawalam.
Ehime Mbano joined hands to bring Asawalam as their credible candidate while adding that in Okigwe south, Obowo, ihitte-uboma , Nus and amalaka na Orie has gone and it’s the turn of umunumo to represent Okigwe south at the Green Chamber, (numalu akara di uto , onye ratu ibe ya aratu) .
