…Cautions Media Houses On Accurate Reportage.
Member representing Orlu LGA in Imo State House of Assembly, Barr Ikenna Ihezuo has concluded arrangements to sue the Watchdog and Newspoint Newspapers over What he described as libelious publications against his person.
This is even as he cautioned the media Houses to always verify their reports before dishing them out to the public
Ihezuo, a PhD holder and an American trained lawyer described as uncalled for, situations where Media Houses which ought to be Watchdogs of the society now derail from their core duty to peddle false and unveried reports.
Ihezuo who disclosed this to Lead Express in Owerri over the weekend however said that dragging the two Media Houses to the Court would serve as an eye opener to Journalists and Media Houses that have made themselves tools to carry out hatchet jobs for politicians.

had on their May 1st editions carried on their banner headlines ” Imo Lawmaker in another marriage Scandal as Wife seeks custody of children ” publications which the Lawmaker described as malicious, false and damaging to his reputation and dignity.
Describing the publisher of Watchdog Newspaper, Precious Nwadike as a mere attacker fueled by bitterness who does not see anything good about him simply because the Orlu electorate rejected him and voted for him during the 2023 House of Assembly election in the area, Ihezuo made it clear that he will not delve into a matter that is subjudice but will rather ventilate his grievances using the due process of the law.
