A scholar, businessman and illustrious son of Umuekwune in NgorOkpala Local Government Area, Maazi Chima Matthew Amadi says he is committed to ensuring that Imo State developmental agenda is achieved.
Maazi Amadi gave the assurance in an interview with newsmen on the occasion of the meeting he had with Presidents General and Woman Leaders of in the 9 LGAs of Owerri zone held last Tuesday at Foret Events Centre, Owerri.
He noted that the essence of the meeting was to discuss the development of the state and assess where Imo people are as a people, where they think they should be and the best way to achieve their aspirations.
The renowned scholar who is a man that is so passionate in making sure that Imo advances disclosed meeting also looked at the ways in which the people of the state can contribute their voices to ensure that the state develops and enhances its resources, stressing that from time to time, it is good for brethren to gather and rob minds, and identified the meeting as robbing of minds to discuss the development agenda of the state.
“We agree totally that where we are now is okay but we think there is a better place to be and stay and we agreed that Imo needs to get to the desired place and we are committed to ensure that Imo gets to that destination”, he emphasized.
