Amendment of NDDC Act: Again Izunaso Makes Case for Imo.

: Insists On State To produce Executive Director.

While Imo and indeed the people of the South East are yet to halt the commendation of Senator representing Imo West, Senator Osita Izunaso over the motion , seeking the unconditional release of the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, same Izunaso has again called for inclusion of Imo State to produce Executive Director as a member state in the proposed bill for the amendment of the NDDC Act.
Izunaso who disclosed this at the floor of the Senate over the weekend however made it clear that amendment of the NDDC Act to add an additional Executive Director to the already two would not be complete if the order by which member states are to benefit from the arrangements is not amended too.
According to the two times Senator, in the principal Act, the managing Director and Two Executive Directors come from one order hence his call for the said amendment.
Izunaso further argued that if his submission is considered that Imo should be the next in the line to produce an Executive Director after Ondo State .
