Arodiogbu describes Uzodimma as true democrat at one Year in office

As Governor Hope Uzodimma celebrates his One Year in Office on his Second Term, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, who is the South East All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairman, has described the Governor as a true democrat who he added is godly, believes in humanity and true democracy.

He stressed that these qualities are very instrumental to the numerous achievements put in place by the Governor coupled with his purposeful leadership being enjoyed and witnessed across the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State.

Arodiogbu who spoke to our reporter in Owerri on Monday in preparation to the Celebration of One Year Anniversary in Office on the Second Tenure of Governor Hope Uzodimma, emphasized that the Governor is a visionary leader who despite challenges exemplifies true democracy, good governance and people driven leadership.

He hinted that the Governor’s reelection by the people of Imo State was due to his sincerity, sense of patriotism, wisdom, pragmatism, efficiency, goodness and good governance, remarking that the quality infrastructure: Transportation Systems such as Roads, Bridges, Airports. Utilities (Water, Electricity, Sewage). Communication Networks (Internet, Phone). Buildings and Facilities (Schools, Hospitals, Offices). Energy Systems (Power Plants and Transmission Lines), among others, are adding impetus to the development of the state’s economy, welfare and wellbeing.

Arodiogbu, a proud son of Arondizuogu, Ideato North LGA and a well respected breed of the Igbo race, who indeed, significantly contributes to the advancement of the society, affirmed that the policies, programs and activities of the Shared Prosperity Government actively championed by Governor Hope Uzodimma are germanely people – oriented – having revolutionized the state and endeared it to global appreciation and respect.

“There is every reason for the APC, Imolites, South East indigenes in general and those who value goodness and development to join our amiable Governor, Hope Uzodimma, to celebrate his One Year in Office on his Second Term.

“The Governor has really dymistified good governance to the appreciation of the people who saw reason and hence overwhelming reelected him. He has done numerous quality roads in the 27 LGAs of the state, Digitalized the Economy via the Orashi Project (which is geared to open Imo to the World via the Atlantic Ocean, with over 200,000 jobs being created. The One Kindred – One Business Initiative (OKOBI, a rich program designed by the 3R Administration to inspire people to create their own businesses and economic opportunities, being a grassroot economic empowerment program with over 350 OKOBI businesses).

“The Empowerment of Youths on ICT, Trade, Commerce and Industry, Regular Payment of Salaries, Pensions and Gratuities to workers and pensioners. The official Implementation of #70,000 Minimum Wage, Inroads in Education, Power and Health Sectors, The Provisions of Vehicles and other devices to fight fire outbreak, creation of Security Outfits to assist in combating insecurity, and other developmental initiatives which are shaping and beautifying the state and causing peace, orderliness, joy, comfort and conviviality in Imo State”, Arodiogbu reflected.

The South East APC National Vice Chairman while felicitating with the Governor, the APC and the people on One Year in Office of the Second Tenure of the pragmatic leader, prayed to God to continue to inspire the Governor with wisdom, as well as sustain him as he works towards the goodness and development of Imo State, calling on the people to widen their support to the ruling APC as to strengthen goodness and prosperity.
