: Appeals To CJ.
Orlu Young Lawyers Forum under the leadership of Barr O.P Anaele has appealed to both State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma and the Chief Judge of Imo State, Justice Chiketa to work on immediate return of all the Courts in Orlu .
This is even as the forum urged legal Practitioners across the State to always endeavor to keep to the rules and regulations guiding the practice of the noble profession at all costs.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of Orlu Young Lawyers Forum,Barr O.P Anaele during the Forum’s summit held over the weekend at the Orlu High Court premises.
According to the Lawyer, the contiued absence of Court in Orlu has not only affected the wellbeing of the Lawyers but the internal revenue and development of the Area.
It would be recalled that the leadership of the Court as well as Imo State Government ordered for the transfer of the Orlu High Court amongst Others to Owerri after the burning of the Court by yet to be identified persons few years ago.
Speaking on the theme of the summit,”interaction with legal minds, OP Anaele used the medium to advise Colleagues on the need to be brothers keepers in practice.
In his lecture titled “Remuneration of Legal practitioners for legal services,a professor of Law in Imo State University,Prof Nnamdi Obiareri gave insight on how to apply the laws for optimal benefits of the practitioners.
According to him the enforcement of the rules appears cumbersome but can only be enforced by the lawyers themselves.

Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of the occasion and member representing Orlu State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly,Barr Ikenna Ihezuo expressed gratitude to all the invitees, particularly the Judges for finding out time to grace the occasion.
The highpoint of the occasion was award giving to Lead Express as most outstanding paper of the year 2024.
