APC chietain from Isu Local Government,Hon Uju Okoro has called on the PDP candidate for Ideato Federal Constituency,Ikenga Ugochinyere to get busy and stop what he described as cheap blackmail in the name of Politics.
Okoro was reacting to the press conference where the said Ugochinyere accused the Deputy Speaker Imo state House of Assembly,Rt Hon Chyna Iwuanyanwu of fake voter registration ahead of the 2023 polls.
Speaking to Lead Express in Owerri,Uju Okoro revealed that few months ago,same Ugochinyere accused the state Governor of plot to manipulate election in his Omuma country home by registering fictitious names and when he was unable to prove his allegation substantially, he has today resorted to blackmail the young Deputy Speaker,Rt Hon Iwuanyanwu.
Uju Okoro who described the allegations of Ikenga as false, targeted at deceiving the electorate told him that Imo electorate are wise enough hence cannot fall to his antics
Uju, a former Local Government Chairman of Isu however revealed that the said Ugochinyere is only being jealous of the rising Political profile of the youngest Deputy Speaker across the nation advised him to toe the lane of intergrity in Politics and not that of blackmail.
Uju who used the forum to commend the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma on his giant strides in Imo particularly in the area of Road Infrastructure appealed with Imo people to remain supportive of the Uzodinma led administration.
