The African Union (AU) has approved the nomination of Amb. Adedeji Osinowo’s delegate, for African Youth Leadership Diplomatic Conference holding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia between February 23rd to 25th 2025
Amb. Osinowo who is the Founder and President of a non-governmental Organization otherwise known as Mass Mobilization against Hardship (MAMAH) recently honoured with “AU Diplomatic Ambassador”, In less than two weeks of his Ambassadorial recognition and as part of his contribution in promotion and Youth Empowerment, wrote to the AU’s Head of Mission for the selection of one of their sons, Dr. Nasirudeen Animashaun, of Vetcare Consult Veterinary Clinic, to represent Nigeria in the Continental Youth Leadership Conference which was approved.
Amb. Osinowo at the same instant used the medium to express appreciation to Dr. Mohammed Olatunji, the CEO of M&M Microfinance Bank (Moremonee) who paid $350 for his (Animashaun) slot(seat).
According to the initiator, the flight ticket has not been paid as he solicits the support of spirited individuals to assist in securing his flight ticket for the successful candidate.
The African Youth Leadership Conference in Addis Ababa is a premier event that brings together young leaders from across Africa to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and develop solutions for the continent’s development.
The conference is open to young people aged 18-35 from all African countries. Participants are selected based on their leadership potential, interest in international relations, and commitment to African development.
Part of the objectives of the Symposium aims to promote pan-Africanism, strengthen integration, and enhance Africa’s role in international issues. It also seeks to develop the leadership skills of young Africans, encourage dialogue, and foster collaboration among young leaders. Amb. Deji further thanked the Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma for his initiative in setting up of various platforms to empower the Youths in the State, saying that the spirit is in tandem with the 3R mantra of the Prosperity shared Government anchored on Rehabilitation, Recovery and Reconstruction.
