Member representing Orlu State Constituency in Imo House of Assembly and House Committee Chairman on Judiciary and Information, Dr, Barr Ikenna Ihezuo has commended Imo First Lady, Barr Chioma Uzodinma on the grand finale of the 2024 Women August Meeting held in Owerri over the weekend.
This is even as he commended Imo Women on the unique manners by which the 2024 August Meeting was conducted.
In a release signed by Ihezuo in his capacity as House Committee Chairman on Information and made available to Lead,he commended the first lady for ensuring that the 2024 August Meeting held in Imo Communities pointing out that the singular act has proved her as a unique mother and woman.
Ihezuo who used the forum to commend the Women of Orlu LGA for coming out en masse to participate in the year’s August Meeting however urged them to keep the tempo.
In a similar vain, Ihezuo, a practising lawyer with many years standing expressed his gratitude to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for directing the contractors working on the Orlu Roads to site despite the recent attack on their Implements by yet to be identified persons.
In the said release, Ihezuo made it clear that burning of Caterpillars of the Contractors, working on Orlu major Roads by unknown persons was capable of stopping the Governor from continuing the jobs but given the Governor’s desire to fix Orlu,he still directed that work should continue.
