The Orlu Progressive Initiative has thanked the National Assembly over the bill on the creation of Orlu state and for taking this Important decision which is already Overdue.
While commending the National Assembly, a prominent leader from Akuma Autonomous community in Oru-East local government area of imo state and Executive Director, Orlu progressive initiative, Mr. Ikechukwu Nwabueze said that South East Region must Have a balance states like other Geo political Zones in the Country.
He further stated that this State Creation will bring Development not Only in Orlu but in the entire South East. “We plead with our brothers from the North at the National Assembly to support this bill and move the country forward.”
He applauds the two illustrious Sons of Orlu Zone, Senator Osita Izunaso representing Orlu Zone who earlier presented the bill at the floor of the Senate and the leader, Hon Ikenga Ugochinyere representing Ideato North and South Federal Constituency and Other of his colleagues who made these move.
Speaking, Mr Nwabueze has a strong belief that the Senate will further pass the bill for National growth and Inclusion as well as the house of representatives. In the same vain he prayed the President of Nigeria, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Accent this bill whenever Legislative input are over and make it a law, thereby writing his name on the sand of time.
