Death and burial of George Eguh’s Mother, Ezinne Constance Chiegeuka Eguh may have come and gone but the memory will remain green in the annals of the soil.
The burial which began with Church Service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church Onicha Uboma had Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor, Barr Nnamdi Anyaehie led other members of the Cabinet to condole with Sir George Eguh.
Speaking to Lead Express after the burial, the Chief Political Adviser and Head of Political Bureau to the Governor, Chief Enyinna Onuegbu described the deceased as a virtuous woman who according to him trained his four Children in fear of God and respect to humanity.
Onuegbu while praying to God to grant the deceased eternal rest however appealed to Eguh dynasty to draw solace from the fact that their late Mother lived an exemplary life on earth.
Describing the deceased as a woman who impacted positively in the Society, the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma urged the people of Onicha Uboma and Eguh’s family in particular to console themselves with the simple notion that their late Mother lived a life worthy of emulation.
Uzodinma who disclosed this in his condolence message made it clear that the deceased only undergone transmission and prayed to God to grant his soul eternal rest.
In his condolence message, the former Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Ikedi Ohakim urged the bereaved family to have solace in God pointing out that their late Mother left behind a mind blowing legacies which according to him will stand the test of time.
In his thank you message, the Chief Mourner, Sir George Eguh expressed gratitude to friends and well-wishers who came from far and near to identify with the family at this trying time.
Describing the mother as a virtuous woman who would be missed by the entire family,he prayed to God to grant her soul eternal rest.
