A well organized, celebrated and established medical laboratory located in Worldbank avenue, Owerri, Imo state, Nigeria known as Rockel Diagnostic and Medical Laboratories has celebrated children from different schools and families during the May 27th, 2024 children’s Day celebration.
The event which held at Rockel Laboratories Worldbank avenue Owerri attracted dignitaries and children from different schools and families. It featured dancing competition, Quiz competition, distribution of gift items to best performing children, amongst others.
Addressing newsmen immediately after the event, the Director of Rockel Diagnostic and MedicalLaboratories, Mrs Nedum Grace Amaka said: ” Rockel Laboratories Worldbank is a place where we are interested in the well-being and welfare of every single person; adding that every single person is a member of a family.” She noted that her organization has decided that at every point in time, they would celebrate at least one member of each family. ” Two months ago we celebrated the mothers and the other time, we did general outreach for people in the market, she stated.”
Mrs Nedum Grace asserted that they celebrated the children to let them know that they are also important to the society, and that was why they brought out a day like May 27th, 2024 to celebrate them . ” The well-being of individuals is our concern. We take time to celebrate every member of the family like children, mothers, fathers etcetera, stressing that very soon, we would do something for couples, teenagers, families etc just for everybody to know that apart from medical treatment, taking time to laugh and be happy helps our medical well-being.”
The marketing manager of Rockel Laboratories, Mr Joseph Okopi said: ” The reason we are celebrating children is because children are the future leaders of tomorrow and we need to celebrate them and to make them joyful, to put something in their minds about the children’s Day celebration.” He noted that apart from medicine, joy brings healings naturally.
Mrs Comfort Nnadozie, a teacher in one of the schools at the event said that Rockel Laboratories celebrated the children from different schools to make them have fun and socialize. She added that Rockel Laboratories is a good place to go for medical diagnosis; stressing that they chose Rockel because it has been delivering good results to its customers and urged them to keep it up.
Mrs Chimobi, a parent from Mbaitoli said Rockel encourages children to do more academically by organizing Quiz competition for them regularly.
Mrs Divine Joshua, a parent said Rockel conducted an online examination for pupils and the first position was given a laptop, the second position got a tablet and the third position received an IPAD. She prayed God to bless the management and staff of Rockel Laboratories and grant them more grace for the good works they are doing.
The highpoint of the event included dancing competition, storytelling, seat games competition, cake cutting, debate time, parent’s dance, raffle draw and revealing of winners, and others.
