History was made on Sunday 18th December, 2022 as the family of Chief Sir Dr. Daniel Chukwudozie OON (Chairman Dozzy Group), friends, well wishers and the entire Diocese on the Niger, Anglican Communion celeberated the 10th memorial anniversary of Lady Hannah Ugoyibo Chukwudozie at both All Saint Cathedral Onitsha and St. James Anglican Church Awada simultaneously.
Dr. Dan Chukwudozie OON (a renowned entrepreneur and outstanding industrialist) and his entourage first arrived All Saints Cathedral Onitsha by 7am prompt for a special Thanksgiving Service in honour of the matriarch of the Chukwudozie family Lady Hannah Ugoyibo Chukwudozie .It was also a special Thanksgiving Service for the Dozzy Group and for Dr. Dan & Lady Ada Chukwudozie who appreciated God for the 50th birthday celebration of Lady Ada Chukwudozie who is the current Chairman of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria South East Region.
The very elated Celebrant Dr. Daniel Chukwudozie spared no moment in appreciating God for the life of his beloved late mother Lady Hannah Chukwudozie whom he said laid the solid Christian Foundation for him and his family, stressing that him and his family have decided to follow God no turning back. He emphatically said it was better for them as a family to be called back home and make haven than not to follow God.
The very compassionate philanthropist and business mogul Dr Chukwudozie OON recalled how his beloved late mother led them to God quite very early in life and was very devoted to God as a sanctuary cleaner. Dr. Chukwudozie recalled specifically how his mother was dedicated in cleaning the toilet facilities of St. James Anglican Church Awada without fail for this purpose he decided to commence the construction of a very massive multi million naira ultra modern toilet facility at All saints Cathedral to be named after his late mother Lady Hannah ChukwudozieJP as a memorial for her kingdom service especially in the area of sanctuary cleaning. Dr Dan Chukwudozie with a joyful heart of Thanksgiving to God equally announced several donations worth millions of Naira to the widows and the Choir of All Saints Cathedral amongst other groups in the Church he supported financially out of his heart of benevolence.
The convoy of friends and family of Dr. Daniel Chukwudozie OON thereafter move to St. James Anglican Church Awada where similar Thanksgiving service was holding simultaneously. They were met with a joyful reception of worshippers.
Highlights of the Service at St. James Anglican Church Awada was the announcement of scholarship for all the students and pupils of Lady Hannah Chukwidozie Model Primary and Secondary School Awada (a School named after the matriarch of the Chukwudozie Family-with ultramodern structures built by this philanthropist with a heart of gold; Dr. Dan Chukwudozie (OON). It could be recalled that earlier in December 2022, The Dozzy Foundation a reputable Charity organization of the Dozzy Group which has invested billions of naira in the past on human capital development, distributed cartons of one of the products of the Dozzy Group (Piko Pineapple drink) to over one thousand five hundred students and pupils of the Lady Hannah Chukwudozie Model Primary and Secondary Schools Awada as part of the programmes to mark the 10th memorial anniversary/Thanksgiving Service for Late Lady Hannah Chukwudozie JP.
The Chairman Dozzy group Dr. Dan Chukwudozie in his remarks at St. James Anglican Church Awada equally announced the donation of one million naira each to the Choir and dance group of the church respectively for honouring his late mother with their very touching musical renditions. Dr. Chukwudozie equally donated five hundred bags of rice to all the widows of the St. James Anglican Church Awada, to the less privileged in the Church and to members of the Sanctuary Cleaning Department of the Church who he appreciated for emulating the footsteps of his late mother who was a very dedicated sanctuary cleaners in the church until her death. Dr. Chukwudozie encouraged mothers to emulate mama and raise their children in the way of the Lord in other to reap similar rewards of God in the lives of their children as he prayed God to bless everyone present with children who will do more than he has done for God and for the society at Large.
Friends, family, and well wishers of Dr. Daniel Chukwudozie OON were hosted to a very lavish reception at the Residence of the celebrant at Onitsha as a hallmark of the celebration.
