City Boy Movement positioned for positive change – Oparaugo

   The coordinator, City Boy Movement, Imo State chapter, Mr Emmanuel Oparaugo has reminded the members and supporters that the movement is built on the principles of brotherhood, solidarity and sqervice.
   Mr Oparaugo gave the reminder in his welcome address on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of City Boy Movement, (Imo State chapter) state and LGA executives held recently at Amaechi Hall, Rockview Hotels, Government House, Owerri, and enjoined them to recommit themselves to those values and work together to build a better future for themselves, their communities and the nation.
   He thanked them for their loyalty and enthusiasm, adding that their energy and passion are the driving force behind the movement and encouraged them to be ambassadors of their values and principles.
   The City Boy Movement coordinator thanked the national leadership of the movement for their vision, guidance and unwavering support, pointing out that their leadership has inspired members of the movement to strive for excellence and to make a meaningful impact on their communities.
   He also offered his warmest congratulations on the  newly inaugurated executives, according to him, Your election is a testament to your dedication, hardwork and commitment to the ideals of our great movement. I charge you to be visionary leaders, to be servants of the people and to work tirelessly to promote the interests in our members and the community at large. Let us inspire one another with our stories and let us march forward together with hope and optimism”.
   According to the state coordinator, “City Boy Movement is a dynamic political and social group that is all about promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision and ideology. With a strong focus on four key areas including grassroots mobilization, economic growth, social development and youth employment, CBM is poised to drive positive change in Nigeria. As a movement of patriotic Nigerians, CBM brings together individuals who are committed to supporting our elected president in achieving success and good governance. By leveraging their skills, ideas and experience, CBM members strive to make a meaningful impact.
   With its strong leadership and commitment in promoting President Tinubu’s vision, the City Boy Movement is well positioned to drive progress and development in Nigeria”
   Also speaking, the Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe who was represented by Hon Cajethan Anowei encouraged members of the movement to be patient because according to him, with the condition of things in the country now, one has to exercise patience, pointing out that the movement is not a child’s play and the group is going to go far and will also make impact, so excos should not joke with their work.
   The Imo State Leader of the movement, Dr Ijeoma Agbonma Kalu noted that they are pushing for the South East and the result will be evident, adding that they are going to shock the nation, according to her, “This movement in Imo is exceptional, we are going to plan better. We are ready for 2027. Our grand patron is Seyi Tinubu. As for everyone who wants the South East to succeed, there should be unity. We want to create an atmosphere where we will be indigenes. We will embark on operation show your polling unit result”
   In her remarks, the South East Zonal Liaison, Hon Amb Uju Onwudiwe PhD commended the state and LGA coordinators, revealing that City Boy Movement is bringing Tinubu’s son to the South East and Imo is the venue, being the first state in the South East to receive the president’s son.
   Some dignitaries who attended the event include a notable philanthropist and founder, Hope Rising for Imolites, Barr Success Akagburuonye who was represented by the coordinator of the organization, Hon Raphael Nnadozie Uchenwa among others.
