Concept Masters Unveils 540 Most Influencial Politicians In Imo State

An independent opinion research firm, Concept Masters, has unveiled 540 politicians who are tipped through public opinion as the most influencial political elements in the state and in each of the 27 component LGAs.

Giving a report of the survey, the firm said the survey was conducted on 6750 respondents who are all adults across the 27 LGAs in the state between 28th January and 18th April, 2024 with a view to finding out who the people consider to be the most influencial political figures in Imo state and in the respective LGAs in the state between March 2022 and March 2024.

The firm disclosed that the result of the survey showed that the highest number of respondents (2333) favoured Governor Hope Uzodinma as the most influencial political figure in Imo state between March 2022 and March 2024 while the PDP candidate in the 2019 Imo governorship election, Hon Emeka Ihedioha was next on the line as he was favoured by 801 respondents.

Similarly, the PDP candidate in the 2023 Imo governorship election, Senator Sam-Daddy Anyanwu was next in scale of favour as 706 respondents pitched their tent with him.

Following next was the Labour Party candidate in the 2023 Imo governorship election, Senator Athan Achonu who had 669 respondents favouring him.

Also, in the frontline row was the the former governor of Imo state between 2011 and 2019, Senator Rochas Okorocha who was favoured by 599 respondents while the governorship candidate of APGA in the 2019 Imo governorship election, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume was tipped by 495 respondents as the most infuencial political figure in Imo state.

Outside Uzodinma, Ihedioha, Sam-Daddy, Athan Achonu,
Okorocha and Ararume, the rest of the nominess were altogethe favoured by 1,106 respondents while 41 respondents declined to respond to questions .

The firm noted that 250 respondents from each of the 27 LGAs in the state provided two names —–one for the most influencial political figure in the state and the other for the most influencial political figure in his/her LGA.
