:Lobbying Begins.
Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has given conditions to re appoint the dissolved coordinators of the Development Centres in Imo.
This is even as Governor has begun to pencil down some of the Coordinators to be reappointed with a view to making it public soon.
A source from the Government hinted Lead that Governor has vowed to re appoint only those that have visible projects put in place with the money given to them in their respective Development Centres.
The Governor according to our source would in no distant time pronounce the names of the new Coordinators,vowing not to allow the Development Centres return to Bushes as seen in the previous administrations.
Available information to Lead revealed that majority of the Development Centres coordinators pocketed all the monthly pays meant for the development of the Centres while very few of them left tangible and verifiable achievements done with the resources given.
Meanwhile, lobby has begun.
As at the time of filing this report,Lead gathered that majority of the House members have dropped the names of their loyalists to Governor for possible consideration.
would be recalled that Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma had Two years after assumption of Office revived the abandoned Development Centres in Imo, decision which attracted varying reactions.
While some accused the Governor of plot to use the Centres to syphon the State’s funds others were of the view that it was a welcome development.
