One of the best things that happened to Imo State, the APC and Igbo race entirely is Dr. Linus Ijeomah Arodiogbu. The South East is very lucky to have someone like him. Because he is a rare breed who is specially blessed and adorned with wisdom, intelligence, deep sense of love, magnanimity and humanitarian services.
Dr Ijeomah Arodiogbu is the APC National Vice Chairman of South East and the Board Chairman of David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital, Ubuhu, Ebonyi State, an appointment he merits given his virtue of being a renowned medical doctor and man of substance who oozes benevolence and love.
Being a reliable, strong and dogged ally of Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma and a faithful APC member and stalwart, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu is a renowned medical doctor, haven studied Medicine at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu Campus, had Masters Degree in Health Management, Planning and Policy at the University of Leeds, England, holds PhD in Health Economics from the University of York.
His effectiveness and efficiency coupled with the spirit of love and the desire to help advance healthcare system in the country cannot be overstressed as such qualities and values are criteria for his deserved appointment as Board Chairman of David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital (DUFUTH) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu saw greatness and goodness in him and appointed him to Chair the Management Board of DUFUTH to advance the Teaching Hospital, as well as achieve tangible results in management of people’s health to elongate living, as well as enhance pleasure.
It is obviously glaring and very pleasing that Dr Ijeomah Arodiogbu is part of the successes of APC in Imo State, South East Region and Nigeria at large. Due to his aura of goodness, kindness, friendliness, tolerance, accommodation, patriotism, fairness, godliness and leadership acumen, many citizens had joined the APC, a feat that has added to its numerical strength as the biggest political party in Africa.
Since his emergence as the APC National Vice Chairman of South East, Arodiogbu has been able to galvanize and unite members of the party towards victories with numerous converts who are positively marketing the idealogies of the party in line with its internal constitution.
Across South East Zone, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, had moved in, with other competent and faithful APC leaders, to preach peace, unity and hence reconciled aggreived party members including those who were not constitutionally suspended or expelled from the party by some overzealous politicians said to be working for opposition political parties.
Truly, one of the values Arodiogbu helped to gain for the APC is the sincere, significant and dogged role he played during the February, March and November elections in the country in which political history was made with the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and reelection of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
He mobilized youths and women of the South East who came out en masse and voted overwhelming to all APC candidates in the elections, hence their large victories.
In solidity with Governor Hope Uzodimma, Arodiogbu and other strong leaders of the party, Imo people and the entire South East gave massive votes to Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, hence his Presidential election victory, which did not allow Nigeria to socially and economically degenerate.
To move Imo State forward, Arodiogbu had contributed richly to the victory of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s reelection during the November 11 2023 Off-circle Imo State Governorship poll. He spent huge of his personal resources to galvanize, campaign and mobilize voters for the APC candidate who eventually cruised to victory and success.
Arodiogbu, an ardent supporter of Governor Hope Uzodimma, APC committed member, a solid party man and lover of humanity, did not play any second fiddle role as he also convinced the entire electorate of Ideato nation, his native land, who massively gave the Governor 100 percent ballots.
He believes that APC is born to navigate good governance with a view to improving goodness and development in the Region. The positive efforts made by Arodiogbu in reelecting Governor Hope Uzodimma is paying off good as the Shared Prosperity regime is solidly consolidating good leadership by improving infrastructure, economy, commerce (trade) and industry, peace, security and relaxation in the state.
“Imo State is witnessing massive development particularlly on
infrastructures such as roads, highways, bridges, airports, seaports, treatment plants and buildings, internet connectivity, data centers, software systems, digital platforms, telecommunications networks, schools, hospitals, community centers and social services.
“The people of South East have now realized that it is very important to join the party at the Centre – that it is very important to be able to decipher truth from falsehood. And the truth they know now is that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the best thing that happened to Nigeria. If Tinubu had not become president of Nigeria, there would have been so much crisis because it would have gotten to a situation where we cannot borrow to pay salaries of police, army, doctors and others.
“In the last nationwide protest, Igbo people did not protest because they know better and are very educated, peace-loving, enterprising. They have agreed to massively vote APC in, in the future elections. APC is advancing and is doing well in the South East. Governor Hope Uzodimma and others are doing greatly and marvelously to meet the expectations of the people”, Arodiogbu reflected.
Arodiogbu, a proud native of Ndiadimoha, Arondizuogu, Ideato North, is towing the path of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hope Uzodimma as he Chairs to fruition, the Management Board of DUFUTH, rendering effective medical services to the people, believing that good health breeds wealth and joy.
Thoughtfully, in his first pre-inuagural official visit to the Institution where he met top DUFUTH Management, Heads of various Departments, Units and Representatives of various Unions, Arodiogbu promised to ensure that the interests of the Teaching Hospital are well represented and captured in the 2025 national budget.
The APC South East National Vice Chairman did not mince his words as he vowed to work closely with the Chief Medical Director of DUFUTH to capture the hospital’s needs in the budget. He hailed the efforts of Management and Staff of DUFUTH particularly the CMD’s drive to help reposition the hospital.
The Board Chairman maintained that his desire is to make a positive impact in order to leave permanent legacies to sustain the goodness and gains of the hospital.
Describing his recent transition from politics to health sector and his affiliation to DUFUTH as a fulfilling journey and a homecoming to his medical roots, the fine medic stressed that his pride in associating with the University of Health Sciences is to meet the health need of the people.
He added that DUFUTH is unique, being the only government owned Medical University in the South East.
Arodiogbu, who plays active role towards the success, growth of Imo State, South East Region, Nigeria and APC, has been doing well to strengthen the quality services David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital renders to the people.
Arodiogbu deserves many accolades as his sterling performance as the APC National Vice Chairman of South East, his transformative move at DUFUTH, his unalloyed support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hope Uzodimma cannot be over emphasized.
