It was fanfare with glamour at APC state Secretariate, Tuesday 23rd. July 2024 when game changers in Imo grassroot Politics displayed their APC nomination forms for the Local government Executive Chairmanship election.
Rotaran Prince Kelechi IWUEZE, from Umunumo ward , EHIME MBANO Local govt Councils’s interest made bulbs as most youth leaders and community leaders stood still in solidarity to a man whom they described as their own.
The aspirant who had served as honourable commissioner in the state Judicial service commission ( Jsc), one time TC chairman of Ehime Mbano as well as APC LGA chairman while speaking with Newsmen stated obvious reasons why he should fly the flag of the Party in the forthcoming election.
Hon Prince Kelechi IWUEZE, who has been straight and transparent in his public outings in the state told Journalists that Ehime Mbano has certain perculiarities that need experience , tact and vision for advancement especially insecurity and underdevelopment that ravaged the localities in recent times. In his words , “we need to re-engineer the system to advance sociopolitical and economic development of Ehime Mbano, some one close to the Youths, who knows what to do ,to initiate a new Economic agenda so as to bring back confidence of our people in diaspora to invest at home. Kelechi IWUEZE is the right and best positioned man . Am here for Ehime good,” he declared.
Asked to expanciate on reasons why People believe and follow his opinions much, he said as a rural man from a poor background who stood with the people at the height of insecurities and restiveness, Ehime Mbano needs a leader who can galvanize the masses positively. He noted that the state leader of their Party is a true Democrat who has no preponderance to acquisition of public funds, the party leadership will always respect people’s rights and wishes.
The politician who has been in public leadership of the youths as administrator said his experience as a Real estate morgul and trained technocrat majoring in Economics from Imo state University would propel him think out Job creation for Ehime Mbano Youths for sustainance. He said the odds favour him especially coming from Ehime East where the Local govt Executive Chairmanship is zoned .
