Officially Thursday, April 11th, 2024 has been designated by the Federal Government of Nigeria as an extra public holiday in observance of this year’s Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
The Ministry of Interior disclosed this on its X handle this morning April 9.
According to the Ministry, the extension became necessary after Saudi Arabia failed to see the Moon signifying that the Ramadan continues today April 9 while the Eid-Fitri celebration begins tomorrow April 10.
