: Describe Party As Unstable.
What can best be described as an end of the road for the Peoples Democratic Party in Ihitte Uboma has shown up as the apex leader of Dimenze Ward, Nelson Uba Osuji has resigned his membership of the party.
In a letter of resignation signed by Osuji himself and made available to Lead, Osuji a Lagos based who has been the major financier of the party for ages attributed his decision to resign to instability in the Party.
Osuji who in the said Letter appealed to his teeming loyalists not to be downspirited over his sudden resignation informed them that sooner than later,he will communicate them on the way forward.
In a similar development, fourteen members comprising also the executive members of same Dimenze Ward have also tendered their resignation Letters to the leadership of the party in the Ward.
In a Letter addressed to thy Warld and LGA Chairman of Ihitte Uboma PDP and made available to Lead, the people also attributed instability in the Party as reason for mass resignation.
It would be recalled that there has been mass resignation of PDP members since the official resignation of the immediate former Governor of the State,Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.
The letter reads,
We, the members and executive of PDP Dimenze Ward after due consultations with our individual families and political Associates across Imo have resolved to collectively and individually resign our membership of the party.
We appeal to our teeming loyalists to bear with us over this development as we are going to communicate them of our next line of actions in a jiffy. The release reads in part.
