It was a heavy Choruses of Praises to God at Umueze/Umunomo Ward, Ehime Mbano LGA Imo State, when a former 1999 – 2022 Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon Mrs Amaka Agbiogwu Single -handedly empowered People of the Ward.
A total of Sixty-six Persons were given varying Sum of Cash while others received Android Phones and Power Banks, to help boost their various trades.
Recall,Ezinne Amaka was the only elected female Council Chairman in the entire South-East, under the PDP during her time in Office.
Another female Council Chairman Hon (MRS) Calista Nwachukwu was elected for Ogbaru LGA in Anambra State under Alliance for Democracy (AD)
It was just two (2) of them that were Elected female Council Boss in the whole of SOUTH-EAST between 1999 – 2002
Jointly and Severally described as “HOPE OF THE LESS PRIVILEGE PEOPLE”, “A WONDERFUL WOMAN OF MEANS AND CLASS”, “MOTHER OF THE MOTHERLESS”, EZINNE AGBIOGWU assured the people of her determination to do more for her People, whom She says has always stood by her.
She enjoined the beneficiaries of the Empowerment to make good use of what they got, whilst urging them to continue living in Peace and Good neighbourliness.
In their various responses, the recipients of the Empowerment items paid glowing tributes to ADADIORAMMA EZINNE AMAKA AGBIOGWU, for her rare Courage at continuing to alleviate the sufferings of her People, this they said, were happening, inspite of the biting Economic hardship that has ravaged the Nation.
They Prayed that GOD ALMIGHTY continue to Bless in a Bountiful fold, the ODI UKO NA MBA NWANYI, the ODICHE NA NWANYI 1, the OLAEDO, the UGOCHINYERE, the AKWAAKWURU, the AKA EKPUCHI ONWA, EZINNE AMAKA AGBIOGWU, in all her *life endeavours as She deepens her Sacrifices for the Growth and Development of EHIME MBANO LGA.
