Group under the appellation of ” Save Owerri Group” has called on Barr. Willie Amadi to stay away from further castigating and insulting the illustrious sons of Owerri Zone.
This is even as they described the attacks on their two illustrious sons the APC State Chairman,Hon Macdonald Ebere and Franklin Nzewuodu as attacks on the entire Owerri Zone.
In a letter signed by Onyewuchi Anowey and Sup Tony James Chukwu and made available to Lead,the group made it clear that the duo of Ebere and Franklin Nzewuodu are men of impeccable track records that should not be insulted by any person and Willie Amadi’s inclusive.
We write to bring to the knowledge of entire Owerri zone, imolites and the general public on the incessant and unwarranted attacks
on notable and illustrious sons of Owerri by Willie Amadi.
Firstly, was an unwarranted and false accusations on Hon. Frank Nzewuodu, the General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) few weeks ago which a counter publication was made to debunk all falsehood by Willie Amadi.
The attention of Save Owerri Group (SOG) has been drawn by Willie Amadi’s media war against Hon. Frank Nzewuodu,the General Manager Owerri Capital Development Authority(OCDA) and Hon. Sir. Macdonald Ebere Ph.D who is the State Chairman of Imo APC.
Ordinarily, we would not want to dignify Willie Amadi with a response but to stop further utterances against these Men of integrity with impeccable track records hence this communique.
Few weeks ago, Willie Amadi’s media war on Hon. Frank Nzewuodu went viral which this same group through a rejoinder punctured all his falsehood and utterances against Hon Nzewuodu.
Same Willie Amadi has again made inciting and derogatory comments against another illustrious son of Owerri Hon, Sir, Macdonald Ebere Ph.D. whom we hold at a very high esteem.
The question one therefore is compelled to ask, “is Willie aware of the implications of these falsehood”?
Few days ago, social media platforms were awash with Willie Amadi’s insults against Hon Macdonald Ebere, ranging from false allegations against family background of Hon.Sir Macdonald Ebere who is decent in all ramifications.
We therefore call on Willie Amadi to henceforth desist from further utterance on these prominent sons of Owerri having realized that his sinister and vicious plans are aimed at tarnishing the high reputation cum image of our sons whose positions replicate huge trust and love by our beloved Governor, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma and imolites.
It is on record that no Owerri son or daughter was against the El dorado service and emperorship position of Willie Amadi during the administration of H.E Chief Ikedi Ohakim.
We further call on Barr. Willie Amadi and his proxies to desist from every action(s) that is likely to bring public distrust, disharmony and confusion in Owerri and Imo State in general.
We use this medium to call on friends, associates, relatives and of course immediate family members of Willie Amadi to lend him some sense of value, and attribute of a barrister not that of a “Bar rester”
Save Owerri Group (SOG) will continually support any noble endeavor, ideas and activities of Owerri sons and daughters that will promote love, peace, unity towards the development of Owerri and Imo State in general.
Once again, Save Owerri Owerri (SOG) will always maintain an unflinching and undiluted support for His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma’ led administration, the release reads.
