While Nigerians are yet to come out of the shock of kidnapped Passengers along Kogi Express Road few days ago,, a GUO bus coming from Lagos State to the South-East has been attacked by suspected Gunmen who killed the bus driver, abducted all passengers, including the parents of a little girl whom they left behind.
According to a video shared by Senator Ned Nwoko on his Twitter handle, a voice identified that the bus was coming from Lagos State before the attack.
The Senator who expressed grief over the situation decried the attack while noting that this was one of the reasons for the law on self-defence which he is sponsoring at the National Assembly. He added that perhaps if the driver had a gun or any of the passengers, the kidnappers wouldn’t certainly have their way.
Recall that this type of attack has been rampant in the past when a lot of bus drivers and passengers were attacked, kidnapped and killed.
There have been a lot of angry reactions since this very attack and along with reactions in support of the law on self-defence which many believe will tame the incessant attacks
