Fear of losing again at the ongoing election Petition Tribunal in Imo has gripped the House of Assembly as well as House of Representatives candidates as the Election Petition Tribunal panels have left the State.

This followed the threat letter issued to the Panel by yet to be identified persons suspected to be unknown Gunmen.While the petitioners as well as appropriate authorities are planning on the way out of the said threat,the Plaintiffs in the matter who are majorly the members of the ruling APC are said to be jubilating and counting down on the elapse of the constitutionally provided 180 days for the matter to end.Weekend Lead gathered that the election Petition Tribunal had few days ago communicated the concerned persons in the ongoing election Petition in Imo on the Letter of threat to their lives coming from unidentified persons suspected to be unknown Gunmen.In order not to fall victims of the said threat,the Panel however stopped the ongoing court process pending decisions and reactions of the appropriate authorities.However,at the time of filing this report, Lead gathered that nothing official has been said on whether or not the Panel would continue the election Petition in Imo but unconfirmed sources hinted Lead that the Panel would be moved to either Rivers State,Bayelsa or Abuja for the continuation of the exercise.Speaking with Lead Express,one of the Plaintiffs in the ongoing election Petition who would not want his name in print expressed happiness on the disruption praying for more
