Another protests is said to have broken out in Suleja, the commercial centre of Niger State which is a few kilometres away from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja over the current hardship.
On Wednesday mornings, the angry masses are said to have stormed the streets while calling on the President (Bola Tinubu) to do something about the hardship and constant inflation facing the country.
Recall that Lead Express had previously reported the first protest staged in the same state against the rising inflation in the country.
The protesters blocked some major roads, chanting protest songs and lamenting that the government should quickly address the current situation.
Reacting to this, the State Deputy Governor, Yakubu Garba, had promised the masses that the government was aware of the pain and hardship facing families in the country and is currently working towards controlling the subsidy and inflation effects .
