Uju Okoro has described as shocking the avalanche of Governor Uzodinma’s achievments within few years he has held sway as Governor in Imo.
Uju Okoro who disclosed this to Lead Express in Owerri last Thursday said he as a person is celebrating numerous achievments of the Governor and not birthday per say.
According to Uju Okoro,an APC Chietain and a former Chairman of Isu Local Government, Uzodinma has placed Imo on the fast lane of development pointing out that there is no aspect of the State Uzodinma led administration has not touched positively.
According to Uju Okoro, all the people that ply Orlu and Okigwe Roads today have not stopped to shower praises on the Governor stressing that the two Major Roads that open Imo up to other States are now motorable.
Aside the Orlu and Okigwe Roads, Uju revealed that Nekede/Ihiagwa/FUTO as well as the popular MCC Roads abandoned by previous administrations have been reconstructed, Courtesy of the Uzodinma led administration.
While Imo people lived in the euphoria of good Roads, Uzodinma led administration got Federal Government approval for elevation of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education to a Federal University as well as Owerri Federal Medical Centre to a University Teaching Hospital for FUTO Students.
Okoro however stressed that the elevation of the Two Universities in Imo would not only pave way for more Imo people to be admitted as Students on the Campuses but would go a long way in offering jobs to numerous people from the State.
Under the watch of Uzodinma, pensioners do not protest before they receive their pensions, water has been restored in Imo all by Uzodinma.
Uju Okoro who used the forum to wish Uzodinma a happy 64 years Birthday celebration however appealed with Imo people, particularly the opposition to sheath their sword and Support the Uzodinma led administration which according to him has come to salvage Imo from shackles of bad administration.
