The Imo state 2023 New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Governorship candidate, Hon. Uche Ben Odunzeh has rejected the verdict of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal
Hon. Odunzeh on Saturday while addressing supporters and leaders of the NNPP described the judgement of the tribunal panel as a miscarriage of judgement saying the elements of his case was not determined.
The business man turned politician availed that his supporters couldn’t vote for him during the election last year because his party’s logo was ineligible in the ballot paper and wondered why the tribunal merely struck out his petition
He explained that his issue is a matter that has legal precedent that the tribunal should have rode on and said he will be heading to the Appeal court in seeking of justice
He commended his supporters who came out in their thousands for their prayers and support promising them that the wrong will be corrected in the Appeal court as he confirmed his fate in the judiciary as the last hope of a common man.
