:Rochas’s Loyalists To Make List.

The feud between former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha and Governor Uzodinma appears to have been buried as some of Okorocha’s loyalists are tipped in list of the new cabinet which the Governor would release soon.
Okorocha and Uzodinma have been at political war since 2020 when Uzodinma emerged Imo Governor through the landmark judgment of the Supreme court which hitherto removed Rt
Hon Emeka Ihedioha as the then Governor of Imo State.
The differences between Okorocha and Uzodinma took another dimension when Uzodinma led administration confiscated some of the properties said to belong to Okorocha which according to the Government were built with Imo State funds.
Such properties included the former Eastern Palm University Ogboko in Idea to South which the Uzodinma led Government returned to Imo State Government and renamed it K.O Mbadiwe University.
Others include,the Royal Spring Apartment which formerly belonged to former first lady and Okorocha’s wife, Nkechi Okorocha.
However, Uzodinma led administration did not only confiscate some of Okorocha’s properties and returned to Imo but went to the extent of making Okorocha who was adjudged in many quarters as the founder of APC in Imo insignificant in the House he built .
Okorocha contested for the Presidential primaries of APC in 2023 but did not get one vote from Imo even when he was still serving as the Senator representing Orlu Zone.
Having considered Okorocha’s loyalists in the new cabinet automatically implies that the duo have buried their hatchet.
A source from the Government House hinted Lead that aside Okorocha, Uzodinma considered and allowed other leaders in the State to make input in the new cabinet.
Uzodinma who is yet to constitute the new cabinet has been away from Imo after his inauguration, an act which has been described in many quarters as having compounded the ongoing hardship in Imo.
Lead Express in one of it’s editions reported that Uzodinma’s delay in Constitution of the new cabinet cum his dissolution of the old cabinet has increased the number of jobless persons in the State.
