: Foundation Offers 200 Scholarships to Constituents

In an effort to promote and encourage education as well as to provide opportunities for deserving students, the Senator Osita Izunaso Education Foundation, in collaboration with the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), has announced the availability of 200 scholarships to students of the Imo West Senatorial District, seeking admissions into Universities in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by the Chief of Staff to Senator Osita Izunaso, OFR, Sir Uche Nwosu McLemmy and made available to Lead however provides eligibility for the award of the said scholarships.
The statement reads,for any indigene to be eligible for consideration, applicants must have obtained a minimum of five credits in their O-Level examinations, with English and Mathematics being compulsory subjects among the five credits. “This criteria ensures that the recipients are academically proficient and prepared to excel in their chosen fields of study”.
As contained in the said release, registration for these scholarships will commence on Friday, 7th June 2024, at the Imo Concorde Hotel in Owerri, while calling on Interested applicants to seize the opportunity to further their education and pursue their academic aspirations.
The statement further called on individuals seeking further information or clarification regarding the scholarship program to contact the coordinator, Mrs. Uju Nwaugo at 08068656651. Adding that her expertise and assistance will guide prospective applicants through the registration process and address any inquiries they may have.
The initiative which underscores the commitment of the Senator Osita Izunaso Education Foundation to invest in education and development of youths in Imo West Senatorial Districts, is part of the foundation’s dedication to nurturing talent, fostering educational excellence, as well as empower students and equip them with the necessary resources to succeed academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
It would be recalled that Senator Izunaso through his “Mkpapando” political organization has offered countless scholarships to Imo People particularly the people with disabilities.
