The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has finally fixed dates for its 2023 examination activities.
January 14 to February 14 begins its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, registration with the scheduled dates excludimg the registration for Direct Entry, DE, application.
The direct entry registration according to the board would be between February 20 to April 20, 2022.
Meanwhile, Thursday, March 16, 2023, would for the conduct of its optional mock UTME with prospective candidates paying a N1, 000 service charge to CBT centres.
The statement partly read: “Candidates are to note that they would be required to pay the sum of N1000 service charge for CBT centres for the conduct of mock examination at the point of registration so as to prevent a situation where candidates would indicate their interest to sit the mock-UTME leading the various centres to commit human and material resources only for them to stay away on the day of the examination.”
However, Satuday April 29, has been fixed for the conduct of the 2023 UTME, which is expected to end on Monday, May 12, 2023.
All prospective 2023 UTME candidates meanwhile has been advised by JAMB to create their profiles immediately.
