Imo State, particularly the new Owerri axis has taken another fine shape as Imo State Government opened Xmas Park for Xmas activities of the people in commemoration of the birth of Christ.
This is even as the Commissioners for Finance and Coordinating Economy,Dr Doris Uzoka Anita, Tourism, Barr Jerry Egemba, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,Ruby Emele and that of Gender, Vulnerable and Women Affairs,Nkechi Ugwuh condemned what they described as false information by the opposition parties, portraying Imo as insecurity prone area.
The Commissioners who opened the said Park however enjoined Imo people to make judicious use of the Park which is made free of charge adding that Uzodinma led administration is poised towards given Imo people a condusive environment for Christmas celebration.
Addressing the people during the opening ceremony of the Park situate at Heroes Square new Owerri,the Commissioners revealed that santa grotto , museum, children play ground, adult fun area, food and drinks, cava passage, iconic beautiful environment, fun train ride, spider, slide castle amongst others have been put in place for the relaxation and comfort of the visitors.
