There was enormous jubilation and merriment at Oriaku Okoronkwonze Kindred, Orji autonomous community, Owerri North Local Government Area, Imo State, as Paul Chibogu Nkemakolam, an indigene of Amaegbu, Ekwereazu Ogwa, Mbaitoili, traditionally wedded Chiamaka Roseline, his heartthrob.
The traditional marriage, which occurred last week, saw kinsmen, in-laws, friends and business associates of the couple happily gracing it, pouring their blessings on the husband and wife, wishing them fruitful wedlock, peace, long life and prosperity.
Among those who witnessed the occasion were Chief Ben Okiwu, Jonathan Nnorom (Chairman and Secretary of Oriaku Okoronkwonze Kindred), Emmanuel Madumere, Victor Onuma, Chima Nnorom, Chris Anuzuom, Nze John Obioha Uzo, Nze Anayo Mbonu including their In-law, Donatus Onyechere, who prayed to God to continue to keep and direct the couple as they live as husband and wife.
“I pray that God Almighty who ordains marriage blesses Paul and Chiamaka as they live together in love and joy as husband and wife”, Donatus Onyechere maintained.
However, the groom’s parents, Emmanuel Nwanya (who resides in USA, represented by his younger brother, Chikaodi Nwanya) and Evangelist Elizabeth Nwanya, were filled with joy over the wedlock.
Indeed, the dowry was prosperously paid to the joy of both families.
The couple, Paul and Chiamaka, who vowed to love one another mutually, in tolerance, forgiveness, to raise good children, with the fear of God and patriotism to mankind, thanked those who felicitated with them.
