The Owerri Okigwe road on Saturday 27th April, 2024 witnessed inestimable traffic as political, business, entertainment, traditional class throng to the Palatial home of Chief Mike Ejiogu, the Traditional Prime Minister and Onowu Anara Ancient Kingdom in Isiala Mbano local government Area of Imo State for the traditional wedding ceremony of his daughter former Miss Akudo Stephenia Ejiogu.
The traditional wedding which was performed at Umudo, the Palatial home of the traditional prime minister.
Former Miss Akudo Stephenia is marrying to a US trained Medical Doctor, Dr. Frank Azikiwe who is the son of Elder Victor and Mrs Jane Azikiwe of Onitsha North Local government Area of Anambra State.
Speaking at the event, the former All Progressives Congress APC candidate in Edo State Dr. Raymond Edoh stated that his presence at the event was due to the long lasting relationship with the bride’s father, Chief Ejiogu. This is as he posited that the couple would make a good home based on their family backgrounds.
The occasion which coincided with a house warming of a magnificent home of the traditional prime of Anara was blessed by Rev. Catholic Priest and in the presence of distinguished guests.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the occasion, the celebrant used the medium to express gratitude to his guests who travelled from far and near to be part of the epoch making event.
According to him, I appreciate their commitment, it is not easy for someone to get an air ticket from different parts of the world to celebrate with you. To me it is a thing of joy.

Personalities here were the same people who used to be here whenever we have event.
We have been friends for many years. You could see people from Anambra, Enugu, Ebony, Abia, Lagos, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory ‘FCT, the only new people here were our in-laws from Anambra State and 20% of our new friends. I was not surprised.to see such crown because it is usual.
Speaking on the type of marriage life to wish his daughter, Onowu stated that there is no particular formular for marriage. It’s only patience and tolerance.
He said: “My daughter is 24 years. She has finished her mandatory youth service and she is working. My happiness is that she married at the right time. “I appreciate God for that.
“We have all manner of dignitaries from all parts of the world. “I am overwhelmingly joyful and I give God the glory, happy for making it possible for the marriage which has come to pass.
Dignitaries at the event included, Obinna Tochuukwu Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana), chairman of Cubana Group, former Governor of Imo State Sir Ikedi Ohakim, Chairman, Imo State Council of Traditional rulers,HRH Eze Dr. E.
