:Threatens Legal Action.
The All Progressive Grand Alliance Councillorship Candidate of Owerre Ebeiri Ward in the just concluded Local Government election, comrade Ohaechesi Henry has rejected the election result.
This is even as he vowed to take legal action against the APC, ISIEC as well as the person who declared winner of the election.
In a release signed by the Ohaechesi himself and made available to Lead Express, he described as illegal and uncalled for, situation where certain number of votes were credited to him while there was no election material provided in all the booths in Owerre-Ebeiri during the election.
In the said release, Ohaechesi revealed that his teeming supporters trooped out in the morning of Saturday 21 September and waited all through to vote but no material was provided throughout the said day only to hear midnight that the APC Candidate had been declared winner.
Describing himself as the only person qualified for the Council election in 2024 going by the zoning arrangement, the youthful APGA Candidate urged his supporters to remain law abiding ,vowing to reclaim his mandate in Court.
