Kumi Properties, a unique company centered on property, buying and selling of lands, houses, architecture (drawing) developing and surveying among others has officially launched its Head Office at 19 Elizabeth Plaza, Nwaturuocha Street, Ikenegbu, Owerri and Branch Office at Atta in Ikeduru Local Government Area.
In an interview with newsmen on the occasion, the Chief Executive Officer, Kumi Properties, Paschal Eziefula and the Chairman, Engr. Ikechukwu Anyacho noted that they had reasons to celebrate because their dreams have become a reality and the business has come to be a lasting legacy.
Kumi CEO, Paschal Eziefula revealed that Kumi Properties has land in some parts of Imo State and beyond including Umuguma, World Bank, Umuokanne, Oforola, Ogbaku, Ngokpala and Ikeduru among others, stressing that the company does not just deal with Imo State alone but also operates in Abuja, Lagos, Aba, and Enugu.
The Kumi CEO further maintained that the company not only buys and sells land but also develops lands, sells houses and has strong and reliable engineers and architects who ensure that their clients come out with their dream homes, noting that the company also surveys lands and has coaches who can mentor their clients and give them knowledge of what they are looking for.
He disclosed that the name of the company, ‘Kumi’ originated from their belief that every dead thing can come back to life, drawn from the scriptures in Mark chapter 5 verse 41 where Jesus raised a dead girl by pronouncing’ Talitha cumi’, according to him, ‘ if Jesus can raise a dead child, we believe that any dead thing can come back to life. Paschal Eziefula expressed dismay over a high level of insecurity in Imo State, lamenting that most clients are afraid to enter the bush, and some times when realtors go on site inspection, they go with security personnels.
He emphasized that the real estate business helps to develop the city and appealed to the government to intervene and improve security in their areas of operation in particular that the state in general, pointing out that as they develop, Imo will become a big city.
The Kumi CEO and CHAIRMAN expressed delight over the massive turnout of people from all walks of life, including real estate CEOs of different firms in the state and beyond who came to grace the occasion in the two locations that were officially launched irrespective of the rains, and advised people who have vision to open real estate to ensure that they are well registered before they start their businesses, warning that anyone not registered is denting himself and it will be a war situation, so, they do it the right way.
