Mr E Congratulates Ikegwuoha On Appointment, Hails Uzodinma
One of the chieftains of the ruling APC in Imo and Orlu in particular, Chief Edinburgh Olumba has congratulated the newly appointed Commissioner, Prof Ikegwuoha on his appointment as Commissioner designate by Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
This is even as he commended the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for the appointment of Ikegwuoha which according to him is deserving and timely.
Chief Olumba popularly known as Mr E . disclosed this in a release which he signed himself and made available to Lead Express over the weekend.
Describing the appointment of the Prof as a round peg in a round hole, Olumba however appealed to Orlu people to remain supportive of the Uzodinma led administration pointing out that Uzodinma indeed has come to change the narratives in Imo.
Yes, Prof Ikegwuoha is yet to be assigned a portfolio by our Governor but there is no ministry he won’t do well having been working as a public servant hence my assertion that the appointment is a round Peg in a round hole, he said.
Mr E. who used the forum to commend Governor Uzodinma who he described as his ally on his efforts in changing the face of Orlu made it clear that under Uzodinma all the dilapidated Roads in Orlu are wearing new look, the abandoned projects are undergoing rehabilitation.
Mr E. Who used the forum to thank the Governor on the ongoing Government House annex in Orlu, rehabilitation of the abandoned Owerri Road as well as the rehabilitation and dualisation of the popular Amaigbo Road made it clear that Uzodimma has written his name on gold as one of the best administrators Orlu has produced.
Olumba who has held different political positions in Imo however appealed to the People of Orlu to remain supportive of the Uzodinma led administration which according to him meant well for Orlu people and Imo in general.
