The election petition tribunal has on Friday morning nullified Governor Ademola Adeleke’s victory at the July 16th, 2022 governorship election in the Sound state.
This however has triggered many reactions by the citizens of Nigeria both home and abroad.

Meanwhile, the tribunal had hinged its judgement on evidence of overvoting presented by the APC and subsequently, declared former Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, the validly elected candidate.

Some of the reactions have faulted the tribunal’s judgement, alleging that the Nigerian judicial system is flawed and fraudulent

Some of the reactions read; endyy090: in his reaction said Nigeria needs no election, suggesting that tribunals be allowed to declare winners by choice

Anonymous: There was a country. I can’t believe this news. I doubt if this election would be free and fair

Anonymous: Nigeria na wa o. Ooni of Ife do you know about this? Is it because Adeleke won’t let you mine gold illegally? Yawa go gast o.

THE BRUTEFORCE MOBB : Make Osun no turn like Imo state.

oendyy090: “So after voting, this is what we get. At this point, I don’t think Nigeria needs an election again. The system is fraudulent.”

Henry; “I simply do not understand, I thought BVAS was used? how come we had overvoting? This whole thing is difficult to understand, I hope all these will be cleared before the general election.

Especially on BVAS. So the people got to the polling unit to check their name and did not see it on bvas, and the INEC official still allowed them to vote, counted it and sent it to the INEC server?”

Murphy; “Ademola Adeleke will remain Governor till Supreme Court judgement. Oyetola Gboyega can’t be Governor again.”
Idris: “Tinubu has paid the judge. He wants to use Oyetola to rig the election. Adeleke must go nowhere. Remain in the office, and let’s see the police that will arrest you.”

Nnamdi Ahukanna: “Why can’t we have principled members of any tribunal in this country after these years? Why are they always bought over by the party at the centre? The judiciary is Terrible.”

Taiwo Olawuyi: “I fear APC when it comes to judiciary issues about election petitions, they are good in the presentation of the cases, but PDP do not good in the presentation of the cases.”

Mr Kolz: “Why are they always looking for means of imposing this APC party on the masses? The masses said enough is enough, they don’t want APC anymore, but all you could do is to bring back their sorrow. This is so unfortunate.”
