The people of Njaba LGA have held a unity thanksgiving service to God for the emergence of their son, Hon Obikaeze Alexander Anaemem who the governor, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma graciously appointed the sole administrator of Njaba LGA.
The event held at Njaba LGA headquarters Nnenassa on Saturday attracted a large turn out of Njaba people and the masses from the 27 LGAs of Imo state.
Addressing members of the press Crew after the event, the SOLAD Njaba LGA, Hon. Obikaeze Alexander Anaemem expressed his profound joy and gratitude over the large turn out of Njaba people who came to show him love. He assured them of his readiness to bring unity, love, peace and progress. ” What I want to do in Njaba is to bring unity, love and progress. I must do everything humanly possible to unite Njaba no matter how difficult it may look, he vowed.”
Obikaeze who is also the state coordinator of Alliance of Imo youths organization said, he would run an all- inclusive government, adding that PDP and labour party members have started decamping to APC because of his emergence.
The workaholic SOLAD who had already cleared the bushes around his LGA with his hard earned money, said he is a man that believes in ” Let’s work together” and calls on every Njaba citizen across party lines to join him to develop Njaba. According to him, traditional rulers,the clergymen, and many churches sent delegates to the event which showed that unity has come to stay in Njaba. ” And I believe that with their prayers any leader that I will approach must listen to me, he stated.”
The noble lady and former honourable member that represented Njaba state constituency at the Imo state house of assembly, Rt Hon Uju Onwudiwe PhD(Igolo Njaba) who celebrated his emergence urged him to remain loyal to his boss Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, adding that he should be accommodating and run an all- inclusive and open door government. She noted that a lot of people want to join APC because of what Governor Uzodinma is doing for Imo and Njaba people but due to former leaders that were handling the affairs of Njaba they couldn’t but with Obikaeze everybody will join. ” I promise everyone that a lot of turnaround will happen in Njaba now because I know who he is, what he can do and the kind of heart he has, she opined.” She also advised him to shun gossip but act as a father to all.
A community leader, and the president of Abana foundation, Hon Chigozie Ibenjo said Obikaeze is a grass root politician, a man of the people and a humanitarian and urged him to keep it up in his government. He also urged the youths not to give up in life but be happy when blessing comes to their neighbor, that they should know their own blessing is around the corner.
Dignitaries and friends who honoured the SOLAD were Dr Ukewuihe Udok M(UD Jesus) mmilioma Njaba, Chief Vincent Odinaka Egbuchillam, Ochendo Njaba, Hon Benneth Ozioma Ebonime Worship ( house member Njaba), Chief Destiny Chimuanya ( amakadike). Others were Chief Emeka ( ugo chazuo of amazano) bekee, Mrs Uju Nwaugo, Kelechi Ekwebelem, Nze Chukwudi Nganwuchi, just to mention a few.
