Nnabugwu Bags Posthumous Award Of Owerri AnglicanDiocese

Satisfied with his selfless contributions and dedication towards the establishment of the church, the Bishop of Owerri Diocese ( Anglican Communion), Rt. Rev. Chukwuma C.O Opara has given a Posthumous Award to Late Sir Humphrey Chukwuma Nnabugwu in appreciation for his services to God.

Presenting the Award during the 25 Silver Jubilee Celebration/ Dedication of their Parsonage at St Paul’s Anglican church, Umudagu Mbieri on Sunday, 21st of April, 2024, Rt. Rev Opara disclosed that Late Sir Humphrey Chukwuma Nnabugwu, a knight of St. Christopher was the leader of ECFA in Orji in the then St Cyril’s Anglican church which has been renamed St. Stephen’s Anglican church.
He added that being a leader of the Evangelism / ECFA, he worked tirelessly towards the establishment of the said church, adding that his contributions towards the formation of the church can never be forgotten even in death, hence the Award.

Receiving the Award on behalf of his Father, Sir Oluchukwu Green Nnabugwu expressed his profound gratitude to the Bishop of Owerri Diocese (Anglican Communion), priests and leaders of the church for considering his father worthy of the recognition.

He vowed to follow the footsteps of his father while calling on all christian faithful to always look up to God, the provider, protector and conquerer, especially in this intense hardship being experienced in the country.

The occasion also featured ministrations, thanksgiving, dedication amongst others.
