Oforola Central Youth Association Elects New Exco

Oforola Central Youth Association, Owerri West Local Government Area, has held their General Election to elect Executive members of the association that will pilot their affairs for the next three years.

Declaring the election process open in his capacity as the Traditional Ruler of Oforola, His Royal Majesty, Eze Kingsley Ajoku, Ola 2 of Ancient Kingdom, charged both the accredited voters and candidates for various positions to comport themselves for peaceful elections.

He further advocated for Oforola Central Youth leadership full of decency, transparency, accountability, transparency, productive result that will be a reference point of good example.

The Monarch who is concerned about establishing democratic leadership for Oforola Youths, appealed to them to embrace open door policy, team work, tolerance, integrity, accountability and probity.

Ola 2 of Oforola who noted that Youth Election has not been held in the community for almost half a decade viewed emergence of democratically elected Youth leadership as a welcome development.

Reminding them that youths are the leaders of tomorrow, he cautioned against abuse of power, dishonesty, recklessness and rascality in piloting the affairs of Oforola Central Youths.

His Royal Majesty, Eze Ajoku, described the election as a land mark achievement of his reign as monarch that has established legitimately elected Youth leadership.

Speaking during a media chat shortly after the, election, the newly elected Youth President, Arch Egejuru Benjamin Onyekachi, promised to carry everybody along int in the scheme of things, adding that he is poised to leave a legacy that will remain evergreen in the history of Oforola.

The newly elected president of Oforola Central Youth assured youths of the community of an impactful leadership that will give all the youths a sense of belonging.

Filled with joy, while delivering his acceptance speech, Arch Egejuru, thanked the youths of Oforola who came out enmass to vote him into office and promised that he will leave above board in the discharge of his duties with selflessness and unparalleled patriotism that is second to none.

Ahuru Anya 1 of Oforola charged the elected youths leaders to live up to expectations in the discharge of their duties for the betterment of the community.
