Group under the appellation of “Okigwe Security Boardroom has condemned in it’s entirety, the recent killing of Security Personnel at Mbano as well as the reprisal attack by the security Agents.
This is even as they called on both the Federal and State Governments to rest not in their oars in bringing the perpetrators of the act to book particularly now the Imo State Governorship election is around the corner.
In a press release signed by the converner, Okigwe Security Boardroom ( OSB) High Chief Sir Chima Uzobuihe and made available to weekend Lead, the group described the killing as strategic aimed at scaring the voters away in the forthcoming election adding that the Government should investigate those who boasted in the national Television that they had been contracted to kill Ndi Igbo “woto woto”.
Describing protection of lives of the citizens as the first responsibility of the Government to the citizens , the group decried the magnitude of suffering the people of Imo State have gone through under what it described as reign of insecurity in Imo State
