Okporo clan honors Omeogo with “Omaobi Umunneya” award, describes him as unique politician

It was a celebration galore in Orlu LGA as the three autonomous Communities that make up Okporo Clan honored their son and member representing Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency , Chief CaniceMore Nwachukwu,( Omeogo N’orlu).
This is even as they honored him with award of Omaobi Umunneya.
The award which was given to him by the presidents General of the Clan was said to base on his achievements in Okporo and Orlu Federal Constituency in general. History however was made on Sunday the 5th of January, 2025, as the good and great people of Okporo Ancient Kingdom which comprises of Isiala Okporo, Amanator Okporo and Udogadi Okporo Autonomous Communities, held what was described as mega grand reception to honour their Son – Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu (Omeogo),

A major highlight of the event came when a team of three eldest men from the three autonomous communities of Ebeteghete Okporo Ancient Kingdom, performed a first of it’s kind prayer ritual for divine fortification, wisdom and blessings on their son, Omeogo as he Journeys through the rough and tortuous path of politics.

Reacting to the gesture,an elated and emotional Omeogo thanked his Kinsmen for this exceptional show of love and assured them of his readiness to bring more developmental project to his constituency in complementary partnership with his boss, His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, who is leaving no stone unturn in transforming the entire state to more enviable status before the expiration of his tenure.

The event also witnessed the inflow of many prominent personalities to Okporo Kingdom, and they were well entertained with cultural dances and masquerades displays.

Prominent among the dignitaries at the event in no particular order were: Hon. Princess Mirian Onuoha, the House of Reps member for Okigwe Federal Constituency of Imo State, who represented the Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Hon. Engr. Akarachi Etinosa Amadi, the house of Reps member for Mbaitoli, Ikeduru Federal Constituency of Imo State, Hon. Pastor Chris Mbarie, the Executive Chairman of Orlu LGA, Hon. Engr. Friday Ibekaeme, the Executive Chairman of Orsu LGA, the Imo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Obinna Onyeocha, the Orsu LGA APC Chairman, Hon. Innocent Obidike, who represented the attorney general of Imo State and the commissioner for Justice, Hon. Chief COC Akaolisa, Hon. Engr. Uche Agabige, the State of Assembly member for Orsu LGA, the Director General of Omeogo Campaign Organization, Hon. Dr. Cyril Odinaka Okafor (Ekwueme Orsu), Rt. Hon. Prince Stanley Chinedu Nwosu (Ochinanwata), Hon. Prince Uche Okeke, the Coordinator of Omeogo Campaign Organization Orlu LGA, Hon. Evangelist Magnus Nnadi, the Coordinator of Omeogo Campaign Organization Orsu LGA, Hon. Nze Nnaemeka Egole. the Coordinator of Omeogo Campaign Organization Oru East LGA, Hon. Sir Chidi Obioha, Hon. Chief Udochukwu Anusiem (Odo Ebube Mbitoli), High Chief Felix Onuba (Hugo Boss, Odenigbo), High Chief Emeka Ujagba (Mmirinezoroha), Chief Chinwoke Uzoamaka (Akwukwo Chukwu Dere), who was the Chairman of the occasion, members of the traditional institutions, top government and business men and women and others.

Omeogo is a good man and he is an instrument of peace. He is trying his best to bring permanent peace and unity to the entire Okporo Ancient Kingdom.
