Former Chairman of Orlu Local Government, Hon Aloysius Oluigbo (Aloma) has dumped the main opposition Party, the Peoples Democratic Party.
This is even as he urged the teeming loyalists to remain calm, promising to inform them of next line of action soon.
Oluigbo, popularly known and addressed as Aloma was the Councilor that represented Umuna Ward in Orlu LGA between 2004-2007.
In a letter of resignation addressed to the PDP Chairman of Umuna Ward and copied to PDP Chairman Orlu LGA, Hon Oluigbo however appealed to those whose sudden resignation from the the PDP may weaken to be strong adding to speak to them on a way forward in a jiffy.
It would be recalled that mass resignation has been the lots of Imo PDP recently since the resignation of the immediate former Governor of Imo State,Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha from the PDP.
Ihedioha had few days ago, tendered his resignation letter to his PDP Ward Chairman in Mbutu, notifying him of his decision to resign.
However,the Ihedioha’s resignation appears to have opened the gate of majority of the PDP members to also resign.
