…Appeals to Constituents to Remain Supportive of Govt.
Member representing Orlu State Constituency in Imo House of Assembly, Dr Ikenna Ihezuo has moved what he described as a ” thank you Motion” at the plenary, where in he charged his colleagues to congratulate the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for adhering to his call last year for urgent construction of Old Owerri Orlu Road which then was a source of nightmare to the People.
This is even as he appealed to the People of Orlu Local Government and Imo in general to remain supportive of the Uzodinma led administration which according to him has indeed come to change the narratives of Government and governance in Imo.
Ihezuo had one year ago, precisely on the Arch 26th,brought a Motion , calling on the Governor to construct the said Road which according to the Lawmaker cuts across virtually all the Communities in Orlu LGA such as Umudioka ,Umuowa, Owerre-Ebeiri, Umuna,Eziachi, Umuzike amongst others.
Inspecting the Road few days ago, Ihezuo who shaded tears of joy ,seeing the happiness on the faces of the Road users however thanked the Governor for hearkening to his call as well as that of Orlu people by not only completing the Road but with solid materials that would stand the test of time.
Describing Uzodinma as a man who keeps to his promises as well as one who is not known for abandoning projects, Ihezuo who is presently the Chairman, House Committee on Information and Judiciary appealed to Orlu Monarchs to give the Governor a Chieftaincy title befitting his achievements in Orlu Zone and Imo in general.
Aligning himself with the management of Vanguard Newspaper over the 2025 Award to Uzodinma as an infrastructure Governor, Ihezuo further used the medium to thank the Governor for the ongoing Government House annex,State Secretariat, the dualisation of major Roads in Orlu amongst other projects.
