Open Letter to Imo State Governor, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma

Enyinna Onuegbu Is persecuted For Carrying Out His Assigned Duty.

Your Excellency,
We have seen series of blackmailing Publications against Chief Enyinna Onuegbu, the Chief Political Adviser To the Governor and Head of Political Bureau on pages of Newspapers Over Umuawa/ Umunwoko Kindred Land in Ngor-okpala Local Government hence our resolve to put the records straight for the Governor and the entire people of Imo to see.
HISTORY OF ThE LAND IN QUESTION
This Land which is situated at Umuawa/Umunwoko Kindred in Umufor Obike in Ngorkpala Local Government has been confirmed in Judgments by both Customary Court, Customary of Appeal as well as Court of Appeal as belonging to Umuawa/ Umunwoko Kindred
Below are the suit numbers

Suit no CCA/Ow/A/21/200 and CA/Ph/96/2006.

THE INVOLVEMENT OF CHIKADIBIA ANYANWU IN THE LAND
Chikadibia Anyanwu approached our people to give him a portion of the Land for an undisclosed reason and his request was rejected by Umuawa/ Umunwoko Kindreds.

As Kindreds, we recently resolved to dispose some portions of the Land and to achieve this,we hired an agent named “Morocco” to assist us with a buyer.
As this process was on going,we were surprised to see sign posts mounted on the Land we have given out for sale with varying inscriptions, “buyers beware, Land not for sale, property under the investigation of the State Government.
Chikadibia at this point forcefully entered the Land and erected his shrine.
Upon thorough investigation, we discovered that Chikadibia Anyanwu with his accomplice,SSA on Land Discovery, Paschal Nwakanma were behind the inscriptions.
However, Paschal stormed the hotel of morroco our Agent, with his hooded policemen in two patrol vehicles and chased away customers all in a bid to intimidate him. the Agent.
He also invited us to his office in effort to help Chikadibia to take our land which his people had lost in courts judgements as stated above.
Your Excellency,we are opposed to Paschal Nwakanma’s illegal schemes over our private land that has nothing to do with his work as an appointee of the State Government.
His efforts in using his office for personal and selfish purposes has become notorious in Imo State and we urge that he be called to order before the situation becomes catastrophic.
We are loyal, law abiding citizens of Imo State and support the shared prosperity Government of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma and are peeved that an appointee is dragging the efforts of the Governor in keeping peace and security to the mud.
We shall resist with every lawful means any attempt by chikadibia and his agent Paschal Nwakanma to interfere with our peaceable use of our Landed property.
THE INVOLVEMENT OF ENYINNA ONUEGBU ON THE LAND:
As Land Owners, when we observed the sign posts with varying inscriptions suggesting that the Land was under investigation by the State Government,we approached Chief Enyinna Onuegbu who presently represents the Governor as Lands Commissioner in Imo, after a thorough search,he informed us that the said Land does not belong to the State Government hence not encumbered.
This is the only offence and involvement of Onuegbu in this matter.
Onuegbu was not our Lawyer throughout the forty years this matter lasted in Court.
Our lawyers while the matter lasted in Court were Barr C.K Okorie SAN and Barr Mike Nwachukwu.
However, It is important to notify your Excellency, that Chikadibia Anyanwu has at this point arrested and detained nine Persons who chose to toe the path of truth as long this matter lingers.
Out of the nine person, 5 are from his immediate kindred ,One from Umuawa/Umunwoko and Three from Umuechelem.

In summary,we appeal to your Excellency, to look into the matter and help us to see to the release of the innocent people who are languishing in the prison custody while awaiting trial on trumped up charges contrived by the action of Chikadibia Anyanwu.
At same time,we appeal to his Excellency to call Paschal Nwakanma to order.
